The estranged couple reached a "completely voluntary agreement" on Friday that grants the sparring spouses joint physical custody of the couple's six children, a source with knowledge of the agreement confirmed to the Daily News.
A therapist will oversee Pitt's first visit with his children, a condition the actor willingly accepted, the insider added.
"This is an agreement between the parents. This is not mandated by DCFS (the Department of Children and Family Services). This is not a safety order," the source said. "This is good news for the children. They reached an agreement that is good for the kids."
