The Under 17 Indomitable Lions of Cameroon have made a giant step into the third and last qualifying round of the 2017 Under 17 Africa Cup of nations, after whitewashing their Kenyan Counterpart 7-0, at the Limbe Omnisport Stadium.
Sunday’s game which counted for the away leg of the second round turned out to be a festival of goals with an opener from Sakava Moise at 18 minutes, three minutes later the lions found the back of the net through Zobo Stephan.
Before the Kenyans could open their eyes, Cameroon had scored five goals in the First half.
The junior Harambe stars failed to take a goal home when awarded a penalty.
The return leg comes up a fortnight in Nairobi, Kenya.
The match in Limbe was previously scheduled in Bafoussam but encountered last minutes changes due to technical hitches according to a release from Fecafoot, the country’s football federation.
