Boko Haram hits Cameroon again

A suicide bomber reportedly affiliated with the Boko Haram sect detonated a bomb in the town of Mora, capital of Mayo-Sava Division, today Sunday, August 21, 2016.

According to several news reports, at least 5 people including the bomber have been pronounced dead, and about 25 people have life threatening injuries from the blast. The death toll is expected to rise in the coming hours as first aid did not arrive on time.

At least 600 civilians have been killed since Boko Haram significantly increased its attacks in Cameroon and begun deliberately targeting civilians in suicide bombings.
