Two Cameroonian actresses go head to head on Facebook over red carpet photo

Last night Cameroonian actress and self-proclaimed Fashion BIR Fokala Bih Victorine, 30, posted a photo (below) of USA-based Cameroonian actress Mbango Adambi, 29, on the red carpet at The African Film Festival (TAFF) in Dallas with the following caption:
"OK I was going to slow down with this fashion BIR thing but some people ain't helping
Like seriously... WTF ????
You leave your house to a red carpet event wearing this and you feel good? Shit."
Mbango Adambi on TAFF red carpet
Mbango Adambi, clearly angered by Victorine's aka Vicky post commented the following under the post:
"Vickie really? Did you suddenly have a spiritual awakening ? YOU are talking about decency? Wow. It is hard to imagine a scenario in which your name and decency end up in the same sentence. But I guess it is what it is. I'm so numbed by your hypocrisy right now that I'm finding it difficult to use the huge mountain of common knowledge that I have about your indecency. Vickie I can almost swear that if you could, you would, but there's the thing with the weight isn't there ?!? I'll just advice you, one sister to another : Go Luz Some Weight!! It will help your self esteem. Because I think you need some of it right now."
Of which Vicky replied as follows...
"For a minute I shed a tear.... And asked God why.
Noooooooo don't be in a hurry. Me ? Cry for that? Hell to the N O.
I was actually crying and asking God why... Why would you deny her a sense of dignity and also a set of brains.
Skinny don't mean bitchy ladies...Sexy Is a state of mind and not a body figure. Carry yourself with dignity and pride and have you some charisma and you are good to go.
So my dearest skinny darling... Thank u but I will pass on the advice.
All you have is your body.. So it's fair enough.
I have the beauty, the BODY, THE BRAIN AND THE CHARISMA so thank u but No thanks."
Fans of both parties have joined the brouhaha which has been going on for hours. At this point Mbango's camp is claiming they have nude photos of Vicky and is threatening to release them if the fight continuous.

Vicky is one of the actresses in two series, Bad Angel and Rumble currently being aired on CRTV. Mbango produced and acted in a movie called "Ndolo and the Senator" which will be premiered in Cameroon soon.

  1. No publicity is bad publicity. So these are actresses. hahaha.
They keep preaching about the eye gate. You want to follow the westernos who depict there maturity or try to get attention of producers by dressing wow factor. Do you know what they get up to with that wow, half naked clothes?
See note for a fact only Beyonce started dressing skimppy after she got married or was officially going out with a strong man in the industry Jay Z.
Beyonce being a strategist, will wear wow factor to keep herself relevant in the media, then perform to the best of the best with all her passion. That's why she's called Queen B.
So girls please don't just be copy and wear or be influenced by the westernos people without using some sense in your department of common sense.
Does Jackie Appaih, Yvonne Nelson, Mercy Johnson appear on the red carpet for any event at home and abroad, dress half naked? Note the waters before trying to be risky.

In fact when I go to these red carpet events I avoid walking the red carpet. Only criticism can make one wear Kaba for the next event.

DRESS HOW YOU WANT TO BE ADDRESSED.

  2. Hahahahaha Vicky love seeking attention in everything. I know her for that. Never stable on something, am sure she is confused and just want to be famous through every shit but I wonder how all of these help her, just by hating another. You cannot criticize with such hate, even in her comments, there is too much Hate in her words.

She's so in the worse pot of soup, she might not know that her reputation is so in the mud, and she keep stepping on people's toes. She's a TV host, makeup artist, actress, designer, Decor girl, MC, but none of the above is she identified with well.

Being popular is not by trying to paint others black Vicky, keep working and stop hating those who are doing it and succeeding. You can't be perfect by killing another though hate. If you can to succeed, please start loving and criticizing positively with good advice and hot such hating words.

  3. Its terrible how a fashion BIR post can cause such controversial reactions..Joan Rivers(may her gentle soul rest in peace) will bash every celebrity whom she deemed fit..at one time she even bashed her very own daughter...so called Cameroonian celebrity should learn to accept content of posts....the dresser is sure poorly dressed in the name of copying..SHAME!!!

    1. Stop going anonymous. If you have a beef with her go settle it. Stoping being a coward. Slut shaming is bad. Likewise fat shaming. If you know say you get courage comment with your name.

    2. Why ei go comment with yi name ?...for ur eyes this Vicky Na girl?the nude pic were kept for a time like this.... Shape like johnny bravo ,Cameroon Nigeria halot

    3. Girl shot up and stop talking about nude pictures. You are out of topic. If u haven't committed fornication before, you can open ur mouth to talk about people going from Cameroon to Nigeria.

  16. The comments on the post though. Well both chicks are wrong. I understand being a fashion police but doing it on a colleague was wrong. In worst case be ready for what he or she sill give back to you.Looks like a personal beef. Well maybe not. Also the Mbango girl fat shaming Vicky is as low as it can get. I mean personally i detest people fat shaming others. Cos its a serious sign of insecurity on your part. Most times its the only way to make you feel better. Their fans aint helping the shit either. Well i guess is publicity for the two.

  21. Errr lol... This is just a waste of time. Ladies getting into a brawl like kids and the crowd joins in... that's the image we have out there... and I'm pretty sure no one there is below 20 years of age yet you act like kids... and to that person who says they have a nude photo of Vicky... go ahead and put it... you wouldn't say you had it if you really did. (I'm not a Vicky Fan...) but I do hate people throwing careless words outside like kids in a party... GET A JOB ALL YA LAZY BOMB ASSES!!!

  22. There are actresses and there are actresses,,, I have been keeping quite since morning watching all this thing happen,, I stand for Mbango (I know her) if her dress was inappropriate,, all there was to it was criticize it.. Not starting a cultural upbringing monument historique gesture like we all are different,,, tomorrow another person will wear same or worst stuff,, so please if anyone wants to be a fashion BIRER,, learn from the fashion police guru (Joan Rivers) she talked only about fashion, not the mother who raised you up to become fashionable..

    2. Vicky didnt get personal, her comment was fashion oriented, trust me, ur reference Joan rivers have said worse things abt celebs outfits. it was mbango who first took it personal n Vicky just followed suit.

    3. I agree with you dear. At first I was enjoying her reply. Before I reached the line fat shaming. I mean Adambi could do better than telling someone to loss weight. One will be forced to examine ger own body from all angkes ooh well...I don find the fat sef i nodi see. She is blessed with a heavy chest and in this century where ladies go for burst and butts implants. It will be ridiculous for people to make mockery of that.
