After going through humiliation in Kenya, Lingala music maestro Koffi Olomide was met by a hostile crowd when he arrived at Kishasa Airport in DRC on Saturday. He was booed and jeered and was quickly whisked away from the airport as some wakongomani called for his deportation from Congo as well.
This was after two days of dramatic events since he arrived in Kenya early Friday morning. Olomide was caught on tape viciously attacking on of his dancers, prompting the Kenyan government to cancel his Visa, his scheduled performance at the Bomas of Kenya, and ordering his immediate deportation.
