Brenda Biya Summoned Before California Court for threatening her mother, Chantal Biya with a Knife

Brenda Biya, daughter of President Biya and first lady Chantal of Cameroon, has been summoned before a California judge on June 1 over acts of violence in her Los Angelos apartment.

The incident which led to Police being called to the scene was provoked by the impromptu visit of First Lady Chantal Biya upon learning the daughter was fast acting as a deviant in Los Angelos. She had flown into California from Cameroon on hearing of the daughter’s heavy indulgement in drugs.

Chantal who came with instructions from President Biya to get Brenda out of California and the United States. But upon getting the news from the mother, Brenda didn’t only fiercely resist the idea of leaving the country. She took to the rampage and began breaking up things in the apartment to demonstrate her disapproval of the plan.

Brenda then resorted to a knife, leaving Chantal feeling threatened. Chantal allegedly called for help. But before the help could come, neighbors who could hear the commotion in Brenda’s apartment, called the Los Angelos cops and they caught her still toting the knife.

In the United States, wielding a knife in a threatening way is a felony and could earn Brenda some jail time if convicted.

she and the mother left the U.S right after the Police intervention and she shall only be represented in court on the June 1 hearing by a lawyer. She and the mother flew to Geneva after the incident. President Biya is expected to meet them in Geneva one of these days for the family to sort out the situation

Things reached the apex last week just before the national day celebration (20th May) and the mother was conspicuously absent from the event enroute to California after Brenda’s latest feat involving drugs.

  5. Yeah that's what happens when one of the parent always defends the child when the other yells at the child for making a mistake

  6. it's easy to throw stones at Brenda without having a look at the parenting.
Questions should be asked why was the child in USA at that age without a guardian? Most anglophones are use to being away from their parents at a young age going to boarding school. Some obvious reasons were never happy even up to being a teenager. So why would you not think that this child will be affected being away from her family and result to things of comfort. Something has not being going on well since last year. Please make a note she allegedly didn't have good results in her exams last year. That's because something weighing on her mind.

Recently I watched a show a Pastors daughter went to college oh my I wish I had that meal ticket. One of the best in DC then she suddenly went spiral. The family spent thousand of dollars to help her. It's only recently she confided to her family what led to the drug, alcohol abuse.
So rather pray for restoration please don't throw insults at people you don't know what she's going through. Being a high profile family isn't an easy task.
Why is she the only presidential child abroad that should get you thinking.
Please pray for Brenda and pray for Cameroon.

    1. Yes, she needs our prayers. Any child can miss the road without the grace of God. May she meet Jesus who will transform her life.

    2. Maybe she's now bothered by her father being a dictator and mother, a former prostitute. That doesn't mean she can't amount to anything. I'd like to see her actually doing positive things for Cameroonians, with the power that she has, but perhaps she wasn't raised to have that kind of ethical, humble mentality. There are some things that money can't buy...

  8. People weh no get sense will always be here supporting her that she shouldn't be blamed for father's actions or people are jealous or other president's children do same. Where we dey now infacy one we où la? Most African oresident's daughter's are industrious; started businesses or work at big offices with the right qualifications. Now this little botch of ours does not know the value of money, smoked like a chimney (which is unladylike) and now raised her finger+ knife againgst the hand that feeds her.well sheep no for born monkey. I help you brenda, ride on girl, the sky is your limit. You feel say USA na some quarter for your papa to village

  13. Story is bogus. "California court summons a diplomatic family and threatens with jail sentence". I don't trust the source. This is an internal affair that could be solved within not by an American court. Stress alone by the insults she received when she posted her "taxi fare" video could lead her to misbehave the more. Brenda sorry you suffering the sins of your father. Where is mendo ze's daughter to suffer for her

  14. why in the first place is she in School in USA when our country has got all the necessary resources we can put up good Universities, Good Hospitals , ETC, Cus Mr president has no confident of what his nation can provide to his daughter ,or is barely ashamed of his bad governance , he decides to send her to Study drugs in USA ...The drugs she has studied will help treat him to his grave soon,.

  15. Really am notre astonish by this; these are the results when you leave an adolescent child of just 18 alone. What do they taught could result.???? Last time it was her taxi affair this time around it's drug. surely there is something wrong with this girl, she is not conscious and indeed don't have moral values. The parents have to send her else where than USA until she gets to consciousness or else some other tragic events may happen. Really she is out of mine, resorting I knife to your mother!!hmm may God help her and keep our country because if the first daughter do behave like this no matter if she is under drug control or not what about terrorist disturbing our country??

  18. if this is true i wont blame her . i'll blame her parents for raising their child in another mans country and blame the parents for not shaping her correctly .that is if any of this story is true. God Bless Cameroon. #freshfingers!

  19. Brenda, do not allow adolescent pressures to overwhelm you.
Cameroon needs youths who are responsible and not those who just conform to the environment in which they find themselves. It is true that the United States Black environment is complicated but you have peers in Cameroon who are showing a good example for you to follow so wake up.
