Cameroonian actress Sende Bende supports Laquintinie hospital?

The chilling Story of Koumate Monique and her babies has been in everyone's heart and lips ever since it occurred. Most people took to social media to expressed digust towards Laquintinie and support for Monique and her babies. Cameroonian actress Sende Bende however, has a more different outlook on the story/scandal. This is what she wrote on her Facebook page...

Cameroonians!! You amaze me. Do u Facebookers watch national news? Someone wakes up early in the morning with "hearsay information" and in a blink of an eye it goes viral. Now first and foremost Monique got to Laquintini  dead. The first hospital she visited insisted they run a few tests on her b4 they can prescribe treatment because it was the first time she was visiting their hospital which to me was professional enough. It should be noted that, that was also the first time she was going to a hospital throughout her pregnancy which to me is madness and the height of negligence. She was actually admitted in that hospital but her family members discharged her. The nurse in charge of that hospital said on the news that the woman was dead before they left for Laquintini . The relatives pleaded that the babies should be saved but she explained to them that if the mother is already dead then the babies are dead as well. But they insisted that was when she told them to go to Laquintini . People attest that they saw the family members crying while leaving that clinic. It's true that negligence with regards to human life is alarming in Laquintini but can someone tell me what life was neglected. Can a fetus survive in the womb of its dead mother? How can it breath when the main oxygen source has already shutdown? If the so call family members loved her or those poor innocent babies they would have made sure she goes for antenatal appointments which is almost free. Like Steph rightly asked where is the father of this woman? Hate me for saying this but I'm sick and tired of this quest for cheap popularity on Facebook.

  2. She got turned away by the same people who are suppose to save lives. For ur information babies have been delivered several times from dead mothers and they survived . Those babies were never given a chance . The system is too corrupt . Human life has no value in Cameroon . . Death is a norm in this forsaking country That's why so many people are leaving . Disgraceful !!!!!

    1. Exactly Kawiiafox !! Why couldn't they give those children a chance? They got to term and were forsaken !! How feasible is the story that the mother had no antenatale care knowing she was carrying a pair of twins??? There is more to that story and until proper investigation is carried out.....there continue fingers to blame a rotten and broken health system and the perpetrators must be held accountable !!

  4. It's difficult to condemn a system that you are benefiting from.I would have love to hear sende's opinion when she was still dating that movie star. Now she's liekly dating a civil servant and she's compelled not to condemn the system that sustains them. I bet you she will have a different opinion if she was dating someone out of the system. Sende leave we jareh....you watch national news pass who? Or the news don sweet you over na now weh you don know senior states correspondent. We all know our system....let the fools be fooled. # I'm out.

  8. Sende must be a fool or a wazzock. What a hell are you talking? Do you value yourself as a woman or human being? A corrupt system that cares for nobody? You you an actress for real? I don't even know you or any movies you have acted. Have the cameroonian government(thug) ever accepted killing someone or is their news anchor ever been truthfull. A country where civil servants are richer that business men and women. Shame on you Sende for you have out of touch with the people. I don't blame you anyway, you were born and grow up to know only one president who is your idol.

  9. Sende Bende is a mom n I dnt c anythg wrong with her views. She shdnt be hushed bc she has a diff view. Why only blame gov't? Wt abt d woman n her family? I saw her fotos online as a working woman n antenatal care in Cameroon is almost free 4 anybody 2 afford.
We hv diff health constitutions, d fact dt one woman survives with no antenatal care doesn't mean it's safe 4 odas 2 follow suit.
We all cry 4 humanity bt pls let's nt be carried away by our emotions. I believe all us here are enlightened enuff 2 separate facts frm from fiction. What ought 2 be n reality.
Pls dnt wait 4 Biya, tk ur right 2 live in ur own hands!

FYI, the public outcry and reaction is based on what transpired in front of that hospital. You and Sende are merely rushing to draw conclusion based on your investigation. You two could have held your thoughts and voice same after the State must have gone through with it findings.A word to a wise is enough.

  16. Usually I wouldn't insult someone's intelligence. And l wouldn't start now. Her life or marriage or profession is not the focus here. It is her crass refusal to read.....read...read....and learn. It is her ignorance which makes her pitiful.
Her statement about watching the news and foetuses surviving after the death of the mother is quite pitiful because she knows nothing about cyclical news manipulation and that a few days ago, babies survived after the death of the mother.
Quite sad for a "movie star." Would you imagine a Nollywood actress exposing her ignorance like this in public? Very embarrassing, to say the least. Please read..... Yes yes yes a foetus can survive after the death of its mother and please watch something other than George Ewane's channel.

  19. Give the babies what chance when the mother was death two hours ago? The only thing i blame in Cameroon is the careless attitude our hospitals have towards people. Even the woman was death, thz nurses could have at least stop that woman from opening her sisters womb infront of people. Even the death need respect. Why was her body on the floor? Sincerely social media is a ruin to Cameroonian. Managing information is what we do not have in Cameroon. Now everybody befocause of social media says anything anyhow without proof!

  31. Very sad story.if this narrative is correct I think lady sande is only being logical.neglegence on the dead ladies part and her family as well . More so one question I ask is : the crowd that were busy taking photos and videos, assuming lady bande is wrong and it was an issue of 40000 as several post suggest, what did the so called crowd who only protested afterwards do to help the situation. We should be true to see the faults from all angles but look deeper on how we as people can be better in problem solving rather than finger pointing. May the souls of those three rest in peace and may this incident one our eyes to self cautiousness and a more responsible attitude towards humanity.

May the souls of the babies rest in peace

  32. Let me refer this so called Sende to this news story which took place in Australia.A 32 weeks pregnant lady was killed in a car crash and the baby was later on delivered in the hospital.Did the medical staff at Laquaitinie attempt any life saving measures on the twin babies? This Sende girl needs to be educated on medical ethics and practice. There are 2 stories flooding the news wave and for her to expressly base her arguments on that from the government is outrageous and a disservice to the dead lady. How did Sende have access to the medical history of the deceased? That alone is accessible according to medical ethics by her doctor.Pls click on the link below to read of the story I talked of above:
    http://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2016-01-22/one-person-dead-in-hobart-cbd-car-crash/7106332

  33. What did she say that you all want to murder her. Are you now different from the nurses who neglected Monique at the hospital.
She simply aired her opinion and if its different from your deal with it and stop insulting her and she is dealing wiith yours right now.

Am just amazed at how unreal.
My opinion is it was time to go to gGod and something had to take her there.
We should be responsible for our acts and bear them its makes it easier for our loved ones and in this case helping the doctors and nurses save our lives. Today we are quick to say a deposit must not be paid to commence treatment when such money is not paid who will then pay the workers? The same 'goment' ?
Help Yourself and Others will follow suit.
We should find a solution as all the talking can't save a life.
Support someone in your family, in your village, in your neighbourhood, on the street, in church, and save yiur country.

Do you know how much is spent on government cars ,public holidays celebrations . There is something called budget prioritization , we can do that without increasing taxes or taking hospital fees . How much comes in ,in terms of fees even . It very small as compared to wasteful spending . Please my dear educate your self on government finance .

A wise Cameroonian once said. Just because Cameroon is blessed with food you can't say that no one sleeps hungry in Cameroon.
