Lt. Colonel Beltus KWENE killed in a mine explosion

On February 14, 2016 Lt. Colonel Beltus KWENE of the Rapid Intervention Battalion, Cameroon’s elite military Corp died in a mine explosion. According to loeil du sahel the south zone commander of the alpha operation in Kolofata drove on the undetected improvised explosive device allegedly planted by the Boko Haram terror group. 
His dead comes a day after the another Commander of the same Cameroonian military elite BIR captain Yari Emmanuel was killed at the war front.

  4. Gone too soon.young soldier.It really hurts.i confided my son into your able hands when he just joined the army/BIR and you became his mentor since then. now you are gone who will watch over him as u did.May God keep u in a good place.RIP BRAVE SOLDIER
