The Cameroonian Federation of Football (Fecafoot) published on 12 January 2017 a communiqué setting the structure for the bonuses of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon as part of their participation in the Africa Cup of Nations (AfCON) being played in Gabon since 14 January, and until 5 February.

A South African prophet who gives his congregants engine cleaning fluid to heal them, says the liquid tastes like honey. Prophet Theo Bongani Maseko of the Breath of Christ Ministries in Daveyton said the chemical attacks viruses in a person’s body and detects demons.

Maseko said his methods posed no health danger and admitted to drinking the fluid himself.

The Gambia government reacts to African Union resolution

The government of The Gambia has reacted to the African Union Peace and Security Council Resolution on the Islamic Republic of The Gambia on the current political situation of the country. Following the meeting in Addis Ababa on January 13th, African Union's Peace and Security Council announced it will no longer recognize Yahya Jammeh as president of Gambia after January 19, the intended date for the inauguration of president-elect, Adama Barrow.

Mother and daughter burnt alive for witchcraft in Kenya (Photos)

Residents of a village in Kisii County in Kenya burnt two women for alleged witchcraft. According to Tuko News, the two women, a mother, and daughter, aged 95-years-old and 53-years-old respectively were burnt to death inside their house after they suspected them to be witches.

Gambian president-elect, Barrow's 8 year old son killed by dog

In a sad turn of events, the eight-year-old son of Gambian President-elect Adama Barrow has died after being bitten by a dog. According to BBC, Habibu Barrow is reported to have died on the way to the hospital after Sunday's incident in Manjai near Banjul. His funeral has already taken place.
